Pneumatic SystemThe Pneumatic System components are mounted on the media panel above the lubrication and hydraulic components. Air supplied to the machine first passes through a drip leg, then to the lockout valve. From the lockout valve, air passes through a size 9, 40 micron coalescing filter/regulator set at 5 bar (72 psi), a 'T' connection which is monitored with a pneumatic counter The 'T' connection between the coalescing filter/regulator and the start-up valve feeds the following components and sub-systems Air Supply:
The 'T' connection air supply after the start-up valve feeds the following two circuits: Seal Air Supply - These devices require a 5 micron filtration and a size 4, 0.01 micron coalescing filtration on the incoming compressed air. The air then goes through a pressure regulator valve set to 1 bar (14.5 psi) and an activated carbon filter before continuing onto the following sub-systems:
- Column (X-Axis) - Machine Unit (Y-Axis) - Table (Z-Axis) - Lubrication compressed air - Swivel/Rotary (A/B-Axis) - Seal air rotary distributor Tool in Spindle - The air going goes through a Size 6, 0.01 micron coalescing filter before continuing to feed the following device:
